Questions to ask your trainer for an extreme fitness workout

Once you have decided that you want to take your body to the next level of fitness, there is more to this decision than making it.  It should be decided with a fitness trainer, especially if you are choosing your extreme program
by doing a training that they offer. Hopefully you have taken the following cautious steps, before you chose to train with the latest fitness guru to ensure that you get the proper level of fitness and that your body will
not suffer inappropriately.

You should ask:
1. What is your trainers’ philosophy of fitness.  Does your instructor believe in High Intensity training? Do they believe in taking you beyond your limits to get more out of your body, or do they have a progressive strategy in
training? Has your instructor ever had any of their clients go to the hospital? If so, for what?  You may feel that this may be a bit intrusive, but would you rather it be “you” in the next stretcher in the emergency room?
or the next client that did NOT ask the right questions.
2.Check out a class or clients(with the clients permission of course) workout BEFORE joining in.  This way you can see your fitness guru in action and get a feel for their instructional style. You will also be able to see the
environment that you will train and decide if it is to your liking.
3. See if you will be given a “pre-test” of YOUR PARTICULAR fitness level.  Any extreme fitness program trainer worth their salt SHOULD have a pre-test done with you in order to properly train you according to your CURRENT fitness level and not just what YOU think.
Now, once you have made a decision to join your trainer’s extreme fitness program, take it slow!  Much thought and preparation has goe into this decision and it should not be ruined by trying to DO IT ALL the first day and hurting your body.  It is easy to get into competition with someone who has been training with that trainer for awhile and say to yourself, “I can do that”! Stop, remember that “life is long…and therapy is makes it even longer”. There is no reason to compete with someone and hurt yourself until your body needs repair. If you follow the steps outlined you will ensure that you will have a trainer you love, an effective extreme fitness program and the fun of going to the extreme with safety!
