As the information becomes mainstream (sadly that may take a while), people will start to take intermittent fasting seriously, realising that it can help them to lose fat more effectively, quickly and safely than other &#8216;diet&#8217; systems.  <br/><br/>A short-term fast means exactly that: not long in duration.  An ideal time frame that is both achievable and easy to adapt to is 24 hours.  <br/><br/>Why 24 Hours is a Good Time Frame for a Fast <br/><br/>1.  Easy to Fit Into Your Lifestyle <br/><br/>It&#8217;s simple: you start your fast after a meal or snack and then you don&#8217;t eat or drink anything with calories until the next day or night at the same time.  This means that you never have to go a day without food.  <br/><br/>For example, if you&#8217;re someone who can&#8217;t function well unless you have breakfast, start your fast after breakfast and break your fast the next morning at breakfast. This should be the first thing you should consider when planning for your quick weight loss diet. Unfortunately, it is impossible to totally remove this from your daily diet since you might have gotten used to it already.  Eliminating it all at once will also make you feel that you have been deprived of the good things in life, which is not good since it will only make you yearn for it more.  The secret here is to eliminate junk foods gradually.  In the beginning, set a small attainable goal.  Letâs say you have planned to eat junk food 3 times a week.  After you have reached this goal, set another goal say, you will only eat junk foods 2 times a week.  Continue on doing this until such time you have totally removed junk foods from your diet.
