The first to point out is that a person can eat the same amount of calories on average, but still end up losing weight.  Another amazing aspect about this is that the body is much better at producing hormones and other things that help the body be healthier.  The study has shown that people will actually live longer eating like this.  I&#8217;m going to talk to you about the healthy intermittent fasting diet.  The diet is really interesting for most people because it is so simple.  You can eat what you want and as much as you want, even if it is known as making you fat.  The structure comes from a 24 hour period of eating, as much as you want.  You also have another 24 hour period of fasting, where you only can have water.  A lot of people think that people are starving themselves to weight loss, but on average you&#8217;re still eating the same.  The healthy intermittent fasting diet does have amazing qualities and I&#8217;d also argue that it is a more natural way for us to eat.  Eating three meals a day isn&#8217;t exactly natural.  If you look at a human that was forced to hunt to eat.  Some days they&#8217;d get to eat and other days they&#8217;d go without.  <br/><br/></p>

Putting it simply, We cannot live without it.  <br/><br/>It&#8217;s also a powerful aid in the seemingly never ending battle for weightloss.  Overweight people the whole world over, are either joining slimming clubs, or searching the net for the best weight loss programme or for diet advice in general, all asking the same question, &#8220;how can I lose weight?.  Simple, if you need help to lose weight, drink more water.  It doesn&#8217;t contain any calories or cholesterol and if you drink a glass 30 minutes before eating, it will help to make you feel less hungry.  <br/><br/>Without sufficient water intake, the kidney&#8217;s cannot function properly, so the liver has to come and lend a hand which then means that the liver will have a bigger workload and will not be able to work to it&#8217;s full potential.  The purpose of the liver is to metabolize body fat but because it can&#8217;t work at full throttle, less body fat will be metabolized and more will be stored.  Not the best news if your dieting eh!! But if you increase your water intake, guess what, problem solved.  <br/><br/>Lack of proper hydration is a common cause for headaches (remember that hangover ?) and seeing that the brain is made up of around 70% water, it just make sense to replenish it with a glass or three.  If you have a headache, try this before taking any medication.  It would be better for you than putting any unnecessary chemicals into your body.  <br/><br/>Your body flushes out many toxins and waste products, including body fat, through your urine, the colour of which is a good indicator as to wether or not you are getting enough water.  If it&#8217;s clear, good, your on the right path, if it isn&#8217;t, then you need to drink more water.  <br/><br/>So, if anyone ever asks you &#8220;what can I do to help me lose weight?&#8221; you can point them in the direction of the water tap, telling them that this is the best place to start for easy weightloss.  <br/><br/>Try drinking at least 1-1. 5 litres of water a day for Two weeks.  Even in such a small space of time, I&#8217;m sure that you will feel many health benefits, especially if you could make it the only thing that you drink -:) <br/><br/>HAPPY DRINKING!! <br/><br/></p>

Sadly, education about the benefits of fasting is still in it&#8217;s infancy so most people think that fasting is dangerous <br/><br/>On the other side of the issue, some people say that fasting is safe but only truly beneficial if it&#8217;s dry, meaning that no food OR fluid is ingested during the fast.  <br/><br/>First, let&#8217;s address the safety issue.  <br/><br/>There&#8217;s an unfortunate misconception that long-term fasting and short-term fasting have the same effect on the body.  For some mysterious reason, critics don&#8217;t read the many well-conducted (and NOT funded by industry and therefore less biased) research on short-term fasts.  <br/><br/>Short-term fasting is often referred to as &#8216;intermittent fasting&#8217;.  Study after study has shown that intermittent fasting is safe and effective for fat loss and other biomarkers of health.  <br/><br/>The critics quote data from studies on *long-term* fasting.  Long-term fasting is indeed dangerous and unwise, leading to many serious health consequences such as malnourishment, muscle wasting and eventually death.  <br/><br/>Short-term fasting usually means going 16-36 hours without food or drinks that contain calories.  Studies show that it&#8217;s safe AND has health benefits that are similar to exercise, including boosting human growth hormone levels.  <br/><br/>As long as weight-bearing exercise is done weekly, there is no loss of muscle tissue during a short-term fast.  <br/><br/>Nor is there a risk of hypoglycaemia.  Blood sugar levels remain in the normal range unless the individual has been medically diagnosed as hypoglycaemic *before* attempting fasting.  This surprises people who experience light- headedness when they don&#8217;t eat for a few hours.  What they&#8217;re actually experiencing is a drop in blood sugar levels, but not a dangerous one.  They may also be feeling the physical shift the body goes through when it begins to use body fat for fuel instead of food.  Sometimes discomfort may be due to withdrawal from caffeine or other foods that they are actually sensitive to.  <br/><br/>On the other side of the fasting debate are people who claim that &#8216;dry fasting&#8217; is the superior way to do an intermittent fast.  Dry fasting means that you avoid food AND fluid during a fast.  This means no water.  Advocates believe that avoiding fluid helps the body clear out more toxins and it&#8217;s the only way to experience the full &#8216;healing&#8217; effects of fasting.  <br/><br/>So far there is no evidence that dry fasting is superior or even wise.  People&#8217;s hydration levels differ so one person might do fine going a day without water, another might suffer from headaches and other ailments related to dehydration.  Exercise levels, humidity, and many other factors will influence hydration, not just fluid intake.  <br/><br/>Often dry fasting advocates suggest going several days without fluid which can at the very least uncomfortable, and at the very most, dangerous.  People who feel bad during a dry fast are said to be &#8216;detoxifying&#8217; more than those who don&#8217;t feel as poorly.  Outside of anecdotal reports, there isn&#8217;t enough data to support this claim.  Until more research is done on dry fasting, it&#8217;s best to stick with methods that have been properly studied, as intermittent fasting has.  <br/><br/>If you&#8217;d like an efficient and safe way to lose fat and improve other aspects of your health, a short-term fast done once or twice a week is worth a try, but until good studies are done on dry fasting, it&#8217;s wise to only avoid food, not water, on your fasting days.  <br/><br/></p>

<p>I have always been impressed with celebrities who give birth and within weeks are back to pre-baby shape.   What quick weight loss diet do they use?  Do they use any?  I am further impressed with the actors who gain and lose weight to play particular roles.   Robert Deniro, for example, gained 60 pounds to play Jake LaMotta as the boxer aged and got stagnant in the docudrama Raging Bull.   Minnie Driver added twenty pounds for the fat friend role she played in Circle of Friends, as did Rene Zellweger for her Bridget Jones roles.   And the record-breaking weight addition was done by Vincent D’Onofrio, who gained 60 pounds to play the incompetent, picked-on  soldier in the opening scenes of Full Metal Jacket.   What kind of quick weight loss diet did they use afterwards, or what kind of quick weight loss diet do the stars use to play emaciated characters—those with eating disorders or those who are depicting concentration camp or natural disaster victims?</p>
<p>And further, the overriding question, if you are not a movie stay raking in a couple mill to do so, is this: How healthy can a quick weight loss diet be?  Or, in conjunction, Is it worth it? I am not a doctor or medical specialist of any kind, but I have—as an overweight child, teen, and adult—experimented, read, studied, envied, and been alarmed by the quick weight loss diets mentality and habit and practice. <p>The celebrities who do so gain and lose weight with seeming ease, are not doing it as a lifetime tradition.   They might even be under medical supervision when they do so.   When not working on a role that requires their changing their natural weight, they do not, typically, do quick weight loss diets (the actors with eating disorders excluded, here).   They use healthy food plans.   They exercise.   They see food as food and not as love.   They diet, but they diet according to the definition of the word as a structured menu of healthy foods that include grains, dairy, protein, nuts, and fruits and vegetables, or reasonable equivalents.   We are the ones who turn their food-eating methods into fad “quick weight loss diets”! <br/><br/></p>
